Help for truck drivers

TIR Info is a free web application for professional truck drivers. It is built so that a driver on the road can see, in a few seconds, exactly what he needs at that moment — how long the queue at the border is, where he can park, where the speed cameras are and when he is allowed to drive.

It requires no account, no name, no phone number and no email address. It is used straight away, without registration, and it is free of charge.

What it contains

The application is available in twelve languages: Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish and English.

Where the data comes from

Most of it is entered by the drivers themselves — queue status, new places to park, police checks on the road. The lists of truck parkings and autohofs were verified by hand, place by place. Driving ban information is checked regularly against official sources.

Information entered by drivers may be inaccurate or out of date. A waiting time reported at one moment does not necessarily match the situation an hour later. The application is an aid to decision making, not a guarantee.

How it is installed

TIR Info is not downloaded from the Google Play Store — it is a website that is saved to the phone's home screen, like a shortcut. There is no installation file.

Android: open tir-info.com in Chrome, then menu ⋮ → Add to Home screen.

iPhone: open tir-info.com in Safari, then the share button → Add to Home Screen.

Because it does not come from an app store, a phone or a mobile operator's protection service will sometimes show a warning. This does not mean anything harmful was found — it means the address is unknown to them, so they warn just in case.

Who maintains it

The application is developed and maintained by Miloš Bošković, a truck driver in international transport. It grew out of his own need — not to pull into a parking area that is already full, and not to wait at a crossing that is not moving that evening.
